Gosford’s Tom Slingsby will head to the Laser World Championships full of confidence after defeating Olympic Champion Paul Goodison in the Sail for Gold Regatta in England.
Fellow Central Coast sailor Nathan Outteridge and Iain Jensen also won gold in the 49er class. The pair have now won eight of nine regattas since forming in 2009.
