WALLARAH 2 WATER SAFETY CONCERNS

The Australian Coal Alliance says it has proof the proposed Wallarah 2 mine will damage water supplies on the Central Coast.

The mine’s proponent says that’s not the case but the Alliance says the proof is in the company’s own environmental report.

  1. Allan Hayes needs to stop making outrageous statements and bring a bit of truth back to the discussion table. He is entitled to an opinion and to advocate for his position, he does not have the right to exaggerate and bend the truth to suit his cause. As a local resident I put my faith in the science of rigorous assessment, and only need to look north to the morisset local are to see good stable employment generated by local mines and support business , in harmony with the environment and residents. As I understand it, Mandalong mine has substantial environmental controls in place, and comply s with these controls whilst operating a profitable business.
