For the third time in as many months, near Coffs Harbour, another B-double has come unhitched from its prime mover.
At around eight o’clock last night a north-bound truck lost its trailers on the southern approach to the city.
Fortunately, the vehicle was climbing a hill and the trailers came to an abrupt halt.
Heavy traffic on the highway was disrupted for several hours while a salvage operation was carried out.
It follows two similar incidents at Urunga and Valla.
