Weeks of fundraising culminated in a big “shave off” in Port Macquarie today, as a group of financial sector workers went under the razor for charity.
Men and women from CTC Financial Group and O’Connor Heckenberg Business Services lost their locks as part of the Leukaemia Foundation’s annual Shave for a Cure fundraiser.
There was even one brave soul who endured the pain of a leg wax, all for the cause.
And those who were less courageous still got to join in, opting for brightly-coloured hair.
Amid all the laughter and hair jokes, the group managed to raise around four and a half thousand dollars.
