Coffs Harbour’s newest beach-side resort was officially opened this morning.
The $26-million project at Pacific Bay includes 60 new apartments, a heated pool and a nine-hole golf course.
Special guest at this morning’s opening was seven-time world surfing champion Layne Beachley.
Beachley presented the Coffs Harbour Surf Club with a $5000 donation to mark today’s opening.
The resort, which is owned by the Wyndham group, operates 7000 hotels worldwide in more than 100 countries.
