Tamworth Regional Council has accused the state government of reneging on a pledge to replace a flood damaged bridge.
The government promised natural disaster relief assistance for the Somerton Bridge when it was all but swept away in floodwater in December 2008 but now its yet to pay up, and worse still, it’s scaling back its funding.
