The north coast’s female cricketers have started the season strongly, with seven being named in Country age division sides, to take on city teams in October and November.
Grafton’s Kara Sutherland and Angela Reakes from Bangalow are in the under-19 squad, with Reakes named captain.
Georgia Redmayne and Sammy-Jo Johnson, both from Lismore, have made the under-17s.
And the under-15 squad is rounded out by Melissa Norup, Danielle Creighton and Kyogle’s Jenny Taffs.
