Newcastle Jets defender Tarek Elrich has had his red card from the Sydney FC match expunged, after a match review committee agreed with the Newcastle club’s submission that his send-off was an obvious error.
It means Elrich won’t serve an automatic suspension, and is free to play on Friday.
