PORT’S TURN FOR DEADLY DAYS

Grafton TAFE started the ball rolling yesterday, and today it was Port Macquarie’s turn to host the youth festival known as Deadly Days.

Students were treated to a lunchtime concert at the Port campus, by young Dunghutti performer Joe Black from South West Rocks.

The Deadly Days aim to encourage young Aboriginal people to stay at school and make a start on their vocational training.

Pop singer Jessica Mauboy will perform for the young crowd tomorrow.
