PORT BUSINESS “SCORES” MAJOR PROJECT

A Port Macquarie business, which is Australia’s largest manufacturer of electronic scoreboards, has just completed its biggest project to date.

Aussport Scoreboards made the 14-by-six metre board for the new Blacktown Olympic Park which will host AFL and cricket matches.

Eight staff worked on the project as well as several local sub-contractors, completing the massive task within eight weeks.

The scoreboard, which is worth more than $120,000, will get its first public showing on Sunday at the official opening of Blacktown Olympic park.

  1. Hi,
    Don’t trust Aussport Scoreboards!
Largest manufacturer says who??? what is this based on? Check the company stats with ACCC etc.. (I did, but i had to pay for the reports) they are a very small time company with 3 people on staff – the rest are ‘Contractors’)
For legitimate companies, try ‘Computronics’ and ‘BlueVane Scoreboards’

i had issues with aussport scoreboards just over a year ago, and never had it resolved.(Even though it was less than 10months old and still under warranty!)
This company is dogey. And the rude owner never even considered that it might be his equipment that was faulty.. He claimed it was his fault, and would not respond to any video or photographic evidence that proved otherwise.
I tried to take it up with the ACCC, but it would cost me more time and money that it’s worth, as we are a small not-for-profit organisation.
I get the feeling that they are a small fly-by-nighter, but are masquarading as a much larger company (The beauty of the internet!)
I dug around for details, and paid for company searches which all pointed to one person (Randy Bable, 6 Capalla Ct, Port Macquarie) a simple Google maps search showed me that it was a suburban house.. not the ‘International company’ they claimed to be.
I wish there was something else i could do about it, but all my efforts have been fruitless – So i now resort to telling my story to others that have issues with this company.
