In Group 3 rugby league, Forster-Tuncurry’s grand final hopes have been dealt a blow, with key player Chris Simon out with a broken arm.
The five-eighth was forced to leave the field after a tackle went wrong during Saturday’s 10-point win over Wingham.
A consistent performer on the field, and regularly cited as one of the Group’s top players, Simon’s absence could seriously dent the Hawks ability to put points on the board in this weekend’s final against Port City.
