Celebrations are ripe in Wee Waa tonight with the Panthers defeating Group 4 rugby league heavy weights, West Lions this afternoon.
Fullback Brenton Cochrane starred for the Panthers in their 45 to 38 point win.
The Lions’ loss means they now share top spot on the points table with the Bears, who cruised to victory over Gunnedah, 50 points to 32.
