Premiership winning coach Gary Van Egmond has resigned from his position as head coach of the Newcastle Jets, effective immediately.
Having coached the club to a grand final win two seasons ago and more recently, to the Round of 16 in the Asian Champions League, Van Egmond is too move on.
It’s understood he’s accepted the role as head coach of the Australian Institute of Sport.
