DUNGHUTTI FUTURE IN DOUBT

The Dunghutti Broncos’ future in the Group-2 Rugby League is in serious doubt tonight as the club struggles
to pay thousands of dollars in unpaid registrations.

A Group-2 official says the club’s players have been uninsured for all matches this season.

The club has been suspended from further competition until all arrears, including a fine for failing to show up to a match last weekend against Sawtell, are fully paid.

Newly-elected Dunghutti president, Hector Richie, said late today, the club is working on paying its late fees and added, the Broncos will play Macleay in the local derby this weekend.
