MISTAKEN IDENTITY COULD PROVE COSTLY

A case of mistaken identity has put a Newcastle man through five weeks of hell and could still end up costing him more than $15,000.

Robert Mitrevski went to his bank to apply for a loan in April, only to be told he was $3-million in debt.

Mitchell Hughes started as a tape editor in Newcastle in 1999. He became a reporter in 2004, working in Lismore and on the Gold Coast.
