AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR GRAFTON

Clarence Valley Council is set to release building blocks at Junction Hill, near Grafton, after receiving a federal government grant of almost $1-million.

33 blocks will soon go on sale at a reduced rate, thanks to the subsidised cost of connecting water and sewerage.

The council will also construct two dwellings at Junction Hill to accommodate low-income families.

Council expects the subdivision, which adjoins the existing Bailey Estate, will help meet the strong demand in the Clarence for affordable housing.
