GRANT FOR BOWRAVILLE MUSEUM

The Frank Partridge VC Military Museum in Bowraville is to receive a federal government grant of more $2,000 to install audio-visual equipment.

The money is part of the Saluting Their Service program, designed to highlight the contribution made by the men and women who have served their country in times of conflict.

The museum, which is run by volunteers, is home to thousands of items of military memorabilia including the medals of local hero Frank Partridge who was awarded the Victoria Cross in 1945.

The new equipment will allow the museum to conduct audio-visual displays of Australia’s involvement in all conflicts.
