A New South Wales community cabinet meeting in Newcastle, got off to a rather vocal start.
Over 70 protesters greeted politicians, including Premier Nathan Rees, as they arrived at the Panthers Newcastle Club.
The Premier spent the day in Newcastle, brushing up on local issues and making at least one welcome announcement.
