The Textile, Clothing and Footwear union wants the Federal Government to commit to dressing our defence personnel top to toe in Australian made gear, in a bid to stop more companies like Pacific Brands going offshore.
It comes as a Maitland based manufacturer vies for a defence contract that could create jobs for some of Cessnock’s sacked Bonds workers.
