Anglers are being encouraged to cast a line in the Namoi River at Narrabri next month, for the annual carp muster.
It follows the success of a similar event in Manilla last November, where more than a tonne of carp was caught over two days.
Organisers are hoping to top last year’s Narrabri carp muster which attracted more than 300 anglers.
The event will be held on the 7th and 8th of March.
