The federal government has extended exceptional circumstances drought assistance for parts of the New England and northwest.
An independent review of seasonal conditions found EC funding should continue in the Ashford, Bonshaw, Cherry Tree Hill, Emmaville, Oakwood and Tent Hill districts.
Assistance will also continue to parts of the northern tablelands, including the towns of Elsmore, Matheson, Sapphire, Stannifer, Tingha and Wellingrove.
