The construction of a $10-million tavern and apartment complex at Woolgoolga is set to go ahead after it was approved by Coffs Harbour City Council last night.
The development will be built in Beach Street on a site currently occupied by the Beach Motel.
The three-storey project will include a street-level tavern, eight apartments with a roof top swimming pool and an underground car park.
65 objections were received from local businesses and individuals who expressed concern over car parking, noise and anti-social behaviour.
