Investigations into the weekend’s fatal car crash near Tenterfield will focus on when police abandoned their pursuit of the vehicle.
One man died after the car he was travelling in slammed into a rocky embankment, at a well-known blackspot south of the town.
The incident has re-ignited calls for the road to be realigned.
