A 30 foot yacht had prime position at Byron Bay’s Main Beach overnight after its anchor came loose and the wind pushed it ashore.
No-one was on board the vessel when it embarked upon its solo adventure, parking itself right in front of the surf club.
“It’s pretty funny actually because I feel like there’s not gonna be much tragedy, there’s not much drama to it but it’s still cool to see a sail boat pushed onto shore by mother nature herself.”
The boat’s owners will attempt to refloat the wayward yacht on tonight’s high tide.
