Two adventurers kayaking from Byron Bay to Bondi for charity, are braving the elements on the ocean this Christmas.
Scott Timbrell and Rob Lowe arrived in Coffs Harbour this afternoon, completing the first leg of a 740 kilometre paddle.
Along the way they have battled 25 knot head winds, tackled two metre swells and even had the odd brush with sharks.
Weary after a week on the water, the pair will take time out and spend Christmas Day on land.
