A Wyong Shire Councillor will put forward a rescission motion in the hope of getting council employed lifeguards back into their original blue and white uniform.
Currently, both council guards and volunteers lifesavers wear yellow and red, and Ms Matthews believes many beach-goers are not aware of the difference.
