Changes to the Central Coast’s water tank rebates will come into effect on January the first.
Both Gosford and Wyong councils have approved the amendments, which encourage householders to connect their tanks to internal plumbing.
To qualify for the rebate, new tanks must supply toilets or washing machines.
Between $450 and $1,300 can be claimed, depending on the size of the tank and the type of plumbing installed.
