A third man man has been charged over the serious assault of a 61-year-old Sawtell man in August.
Police allege Gary Vigors was assaulted by a group of five men when he confronted them while they were allegedly damaging a neighbouring property.
Mr Vigors sustained a broken nose, cuts to his head and bruising to his body.
Police say a 20-year-old Bonville man handed himself in to Coffs Harbour station yesterday, and admitted involvement in the incident.
Two 19-year-old men have also been charged in relation to the alleged assault.
