Just a day after being selected to make his debut for the senior New South Wales cricket side, Bendemeer’s Josh Hazelwood has been named in the state’s under 19’s representative side.
Tamworth’s Blake Fitzgerald was also selected for the second year running.
The 18-year old batsman will take on the Vice Captain role for the team, an honour many cricket insiders believe indicates he too is being groomed for a professional career.
