The Tamworth Pirates will select the club’s first grade coach for the 2009 season at a board meeting tonight.
Four candidates will be considered, including 2008 coach Garry Walsh.
Barraba, Walcha, Quirindi and Gunnedah Rugby Union clubs are also yet to confirm coaches.
The Moree Bulls are looking for interested parties, with 2008 coach Liam McCormick announcing plans to play next season.
Coming back from a serious neck injury, McCormick hasn’t ruled out a captain coach role.
