IRISH TRADERS AROUND MOREE

Barwon police are warning the public not to deal with travelling Irish traders that are believed to be selling faulty goods.

A number of items have been seized around Boggabri and Moree as part of an ongoing investigation involving several state and national government agencies.

Police say the group is well organised, selling generators, pressure cleaners and welders at high prices from the back of rented tradesman vans.
Anyone who may have purchased any goods is being urged to contact the Moree police station on 02 67 529 499
