Nowra has claimed the State Fire Fighters Championship in Tamworth.
The South Coast fire fighters finished almost 400 points ahead of their nearest rivals, Kelso.
Mid north coast teams went well with Dorrigo and South Grafton placed third and fourth.
The best of the New England teams was Glen Innes Fire Station finishing at sixth, followed by an invitational side, the Kootingal Rural Firies at 12th.
Another north west team, Uralla, took home the trophy for the best team work.
