Coffs Harbour MP Andrew Fraser has been dumped as The Nationals deputy leader, following a party meeting in Sydney today.
The decision comes following the National’s poor showing at last weekend’s Port Macquarie by-election, which was won by independent candidate Peter Besseling.
Andrew Stoner has been retained as leader, with Murrumbidgee MP Adrian Piccoli elected as the new deputy.
