ERINA EAGLES WON’T RE-ENTER TEAM IN JIM BEAM CUP COMPETITION

The Erina Eagles have confirmed they will not be competiting in next year’s Jim Beam Cup.

A downturn in the club’s profit, largely because of new smoking laws, has been blamed as the main factor for the decision.

The club will review its finances next year to determine whether it will compete in 2010.

The Eagles will compete in the Central Coast Rugby League competition next year.
