FAREWELL TO TITANS PLYERS

The Gold Coast Titans are set to farewell a handful of stars in their final round clash with the Wests Tigers.

Five members of Sunday’s team will leave at the end of the season, and they’re determined to sign off in style.

Cold and wet conditions are what Luke Swain can expect in bucket loads, when he links with English Superleague side Salford next year.

“This’ll be summer over there I bet.”

But the forecast for the Titans is bright, even according to those who’re leaving.

With the club boasting enough young talent to cover the loss of more than 500 games of first grade experience.

“Will Matthews is a personal favourite because he is a forward and I think he’s gonna be a force in the future so I think the club’s in great hand.”

“I think will have a big future in the game, got some natural skills you don’t see with a lot of people in the game.”

Cooper heads to Penrith next year, and hopes Petro Civonacieva will still be there when he arrives.

The Panthers skipper is believed to be unhappy at the club, and considering offers from overseas.

“I hope my manager tells me cos we got the same manager I hope he does stay there I don’t see him leaving any time soon, coaching ranks might be a bit different.”

Sunday’s game will also be the Titans finale for Cowboys-bound Clint Amos and James Stosic.
