Clarence Valley Council has today been named among recipients of national Local Government Awards, announced by the Prime Minister.
The council won the top award for youth engagement for its Youth Summer Events program.
It was also topped the natural resource management category for its work reviving floodplain watercourses and wetlands.
The Clarence council and the Nambucca Shire also picked up commendations for their regional development innovations.
