UTE DRIVER SURVIVES FLOOD WATERS

A Newcastle man had a lucky escape from rising floodwaters in the Upper Hunter this morning.

He was trapped in a ute on a flooded bridge for over an hour before the Rural Fire Service came to the rescue.
