Tamworth residents have woken to a thick fog.
The haze blanketed the city, causing some minor traffic delays and reducing visibility to just metres.
The early morning Aeropelican flight from Newcastle was cancelled, while the 9.30 Qantaslink flight from Sydney didn’t land in Tamworth until almost 11 o’clock.
It didn’t deter early morning walkers, going about their business as usual.
The Bureau of Meteorology says the humidity following rain caused the mist to form.
