COAST TEAM AIMING FOR TOP TWO

Stockton Beach will host the prestigious New South Wales Inter-branch Surf Lifesaving Championships for the first time since 2002.   Former Central Coast Captain Rachelle King says the region’s team, coached by Trevor Gee, is aiming for a top two finish, and will be led by three National representatives.     Individual races are tomorrow, followed by team events on Sunday, with athletes from under 12s to Open’s competing. Sydney Branch are the reigning champions. (Audio in parts)

KOKODA LIFE CHANGING FOR KING

After completing the Kokoda Track, Rachelle King is now considering another trek alongside the inspirational Turia Pitt, with Mount Kilimanjaro a possibility. But the immediate focus for the surf lifesaving champion is the World Titles in The Netherlands in September.
