LLOYD MAKES DREAM DEBUT FOR GIANTS

Former Killarney Vale Bombers forward Daniel Lloyd had 17 disposals on debut for The Giants at the weekend. The 25 year-old narrowly missed a set shot from right on the 50 metre arc in the second quarter; At the 11-minute mark of the third term; a moment to savour, with his first AFL goal. BISHOP BOWS OUT

A¬†surprise announcement in the Black Diamond AFL today with Terrigal Avoca’s Chris Bishop stepping down after nine years at the helm. The 33 year-old, who won three premierships, will continue to play for the club, but he now has ambitions to coach at the elite level.

PANTHERS FEEL THE BLUES AFTER LOSS

The Black Diamond AFL will host its Vote Count on Wednesday, with Terrigal Avoca’s James Webster aiming for an incredible fourth successive Best and Fairest Award. The Panthers will have to do it the hard way if its to win a third successive flag, following a 22 point loss to Newcastle City in the Major Semi.
