Lake Macquarie water skier Tim Bradstreet hasn’t made the move to the senior ramp yet, but that didn’t stop him from winning the Australian Open from the junior ramp over the weekend.
Having recently set a new world record of 69.6 metres, Bradstreet cruised to victory at Port Macquarie.
The 18-year-old is now hoping to push his more experienced rivals at the prestigious Moomba Masters in Victoria next week.

Lake Macquarie water skier Tim Bradstreet has won an incredible three gold medals at the US Masters event in Georgia.
His effort in the jump category of 60.7 metres saw him set another distance record for a junior competitor.
The 18 year old’s performance is likely to earn him a spot on the Australian Team for the World Waterski Championships in Russia in July.
