Bagging back-to-back-to-back wins just got a whole lot harder for the Gold Coast Suns.
Zac Smith has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
Scans today revealed the boom ruckman ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament during the opening half of the Suns 32-point win over the Bulldogs on Saturday.
The 23-year-old requires a full knee reconstruction.
Our boys play the Hawks in Melbourne on Sunday.
GYMNASTS COMPETE IN QUEENSLAND CUP

The Gold Coast played host to more than 2 hundred gymnasts from all over the state this weekend.
11 different clubs travelled from as far north as Gladstone to take part in the annual Queensland Cup competition.
“it’s boys and girls, our youngest is probably 5 or 6 years of age, through to adults in their thirties, which is a wonderful part of the sport.”
The winners will head to the State Championships in Brisbane in two weeks time.
INDIGENOUS KIDS LAP UP LEARN TO SURF LESSON

Kingscliff’s Justin Holland, has taken out the New South Wales Stand-up Paddleboard Championships at Port Stephens.
He overcame fellow Tweed local Beau Nixon, with a total score of 13.93, something he didn’t take for granted.
“Mate that guy can throw nines and tens whenever he wants so when you’ve got him and the young Toby Cracknell and Stevo, mate just stoked to be with them and the weather’s been great.”
Holland recently placed third at a world tour event in Brazil.
