Two of the Hunter’s top basketballers have done plenty to impress Australian coach Brendan Joyce, during a training camp on the Central Coast.
Katie Ebzery is now eyeing off a place in the Opals squad for a European tour, as well as the Olympic qualifiers against New Zealand in August.
“I just have to keep putting in the work and performing at camp and hopefully I get a call up.”
Having recently won the WNBL title, Suzy Batkovic is working towards her fourth Olympic Games.
“Coming off a big win like that, third time lucky in Townsville, putting green and gold after having a couple of years break from it with a back injury it’s been really good.”
