In other news, the official opening for West’s multi-million dollar
Scully Park sporting precinct has been set for June 6.
There’ll be a community open day four days prior so residents can catch a glimpse of the ground, which features a 700-seat grandstand.
Construction is expected to be completed by mid May, but the redevelopment doesn’t end there.
Work on a $12 million hotel at Scully Park’s number one oval will begin within the next four to six weeks.
