RSPCA CALLS FOR HELP AFTER ATTACK ON PUP

The RSPCA is calling on the community to help find the person responsible for another sickening attack on a puppy in the Hunter.

A male staffy-cross is in a critical condition, after being found with head injuries and multiple fractures, in national parkland at Cessnock.

The RSPCA says a concerned member of the public called last night after seeing the dog, believed to be between one and two years old, by the side of the road.

Wet weather hampered search efforts last night, but the pup was located this morning, and taken to the RSPCA’s Rutherford facility.

It follows the brutal bashing deaths of a litter of unwanted puppies in the area last month.

  1. Concerning the puppy found. I know this is a horrible thing to say but I wish the person who did this to the puppy should have the same thing done to them and see how tough they are then.It saddens me to know there are sick people in this world

  2. I agree. What is wrong with people these days, everyone is out to get each, true cowards.

  3. The person who has carried out this crime should be, found, bashed every day by selected group of people within the community and every time they look sideways to receive a hiding again and again until this person does away with themselves.
This type – waste of space and oxygen on this earth.
We do not want this sort within our Community.
What they have done to this helpless pup, show them how it feels!
A lot stricter laws have to be put in place for these type. Do not make excuses that they have a mental illness!
