TOUGH SPEEDWAY GRAND PRIX DEBUT FOR JASON DOYLE

Belmont’s Jason Doyle has been forced to endure a frustrating start to this year’s Speedway Grand Prix series in Poland.
Practice was cancelled because the track was deemed unsafe.
Then on Friday night, in front of 57,000 people, the main event was plagued by a faulty starting gate, before organisers were forced to call off the meeting after heat 12.
Making his debut in the sport’s showcase series, Doyle finished third in his opening heat.
