A woman has died and a man has been seriously injured after a skydiving accident at Tyagarah, north of Byron Bay this afternoon.
Initial investigations indicate two skydivers fell to the ground when their chutes became entangled.
A male skydiver was treated on scene and flown to hospital by rescue helicopter.
