  1. Great reporting Camilla, responsible and supportive media, bring in on, a breath of fresh air. Thank yoi.

  2. This group ‘Women’s Health Forum’ is run by ‘Esoteric Women’s Health’ which is part of the contraversial ‘Universal Medicine’ religious group. Disappointing that the people did not make this clear in the report.

  3. I attended this event and it was great to see our local community starting to address some of the issues relating to women’s health. Particularly recognising the need for greater support for health professionals. I look forward to seeing what comes of this initiative in the local area.

  4. This forum brought a lot of awareness around how the health of women is getting worse every year and thsi is a serious matter that needs to be looked into as to why that the case and see how people can be supported once in therir health esp. in early stages to prevent it form getting to a worse stage. It also seemed that even the health care providers as well as patients both need more support & care.

  5. No controversy J Benjamin other than that conjured up by cyberbullies and trolls. Esoteric Women’s Health practitioners have a worldwide reach and number amongst them the most highly trained and esteemed professionals. Starting this sort of conversation is an essential part of moving forward when it comes to women’s health and the community starting to work together towards some true and sustainable answers. Universal Medicine is reversing the trend, all over the world and has valid and real answers for everyday people. Critiquing it without even being there is a ridiculous attempt to censure the vital contribution those involved can make to our health industry.

  6. Dear Jenny, you act somewhat passive-aggressive to that persons simple comment. It seems that the topics discussed by your secret group are not intended for or to be understood by the mainstream. Your “esoteric” group opposes involvement from the rest of society simply because it considers itself esoteric.

    es•o•ter•ic (ˌɛs əˈtɛr ɪk)
    adj.
    1. understood by or meant for only the select few who have special knowledge or interest or for the initiates of a group; recondite.
    2. belonging to the select few.
    3. private; secret.

Not too sure what you have “conjured up by cyberbullies and trolls” but it’s obviously not intended to be understood by the mere mortals reading this.

  7. The commenter Jenny Ellis above has admitted that this New Women’s Health Forum is run by the clandestine religion Universal Medicine Pty Ltd, Esoteric Women’s Health and also the Girl to Woman Project. It is extremely dangerous for such a group to take on the role of spokesperson for the community’s health.

As mentioned their hocus-pocus practices and medical explanations are ‘esoteric’ and occult in nature. That means they are intended to have slippery concepts attached to them intended to always be above any basic understanding of evidence based medicine. They make up their medical theories on the run.

Avoid this Esoteric Women’s Health Forum group at all costs. They do not mean any good to come of their seemingly caring intentions. People risk making their conditions much worse by taking the advice of this Universal Medicine group.

  8. Great ! good news and straight to the point NBN a much need support service that needs to get out to the public, I am very interested to see and support the outcome

  9. Universal Medicine is only ‘controversial’ because of the efforts of a group of online cyber-abusers. Prior to their ‘activation’ two and a half years ago not one complaint – ever. Their agenda is as transparent as your attempts at muddying the waters using loaded language: ‘passive-aggressive’, ‘secret’, ‘not…to be understood, ‘mere mortals’. Sheath the envy and take a look at what Universal Medicine is actually contributing to women’s health – for starters.

  10. It was a very informative forum and it was great to hear from different doctors as to what is really happening in women’s health today.

  11. Fantastic that people are taking responsibility for change within the community themselves. Initiatives like this mean that things can change. We are quick to complain about things but not so quick to actually do anything meaningful towards making change. As for forum being part of Universal Medicine – the smear campaign going on with that is because of by cyber bullies and Universal Medicine has impeccable means of healthcare and presents on our own responsibility for our health and wellbeing. Really great to see this happening in our local community.

  12. A bit of reading on this group shows it to be some sort of reincarnation sect with alternative ‘universal medicine’ fronts acting for the central character/s.

    The group seems to have an unhealthy extremist like fascination with;
    – The ‘cyber trolls’ who are apparently responsible for the evils.
    – A reincarnated “son of God” still living in Goonellabah NSW revered by the followers.
    – Focus on breast and uterus massaging as therapy.
    – Bizarre alternative health practices and quasi-religious beliefs none of which are effective in any way.
    – A focus on making girls become women for unknown rationale.

Is this the type of degenerate stuff we want our daughters exposed to? I certainly don’t.

  13. Please listen to Dr Beck Isaac. Every word she has said is truth. Every word. Avoid at all costs.

  14. On all points Dr Isaac, with due respect, you are deeply misled. There is nothing hocus-pocus and there are no slippery concepts as you so denigratingly put it. What thousands of people have in fact risked is to actually get well again… completely reversing the usual trends in disease, illness, mental health and wellbeing in a way that is to date unprecedented. That deserves investigation, if not at the very least curiosity.
One has to wonder what it is you protect so vehemently without due research, beyond that so obviously drawn from the prolific online abuse of known cyberbullies.

  15. As the NSW Parliamentary Inquiry report by the Health Care Complaints Committee stated in regards to Universal Medicine, Jenny, none “of of the treatments been proven effective by evidence-based, scientific research” and furthermore, “while there is little anecdotal evidence to suggest actual harm caused by these treatments, concerns were raised that patients may forego seeking proper medical advice and care. Two patients who were undergoing therapies at Universal Medicine were independently diagnosed with cancer and bronchiectasis respectively, and required proper medical intervention in order to be properly treated.”

  16. So the two reps of Universal Medicine and the Women’s Health Forum have trouble with reading? Alan can’t read a dictionary and Jenny is incapable of comprehending a Parliamentary Inquiry Report.

  17. Thanks for confirming this health forum is just a front for a religious sect.

Shame on NBN and Camilla Campbell for being part of this fraud and duplicity. To trick the community (who NBN might also take for fools) and promote a questionable group hiding behind the front organisation the ‘Women’s Health Forum’.

  18. So who from Esoteric Women’s Health is lying here? Is your clan a business, a religion, a cult, a phoney health service, a community group, a health forum – what???? Seems like your clan reinvents itself to some new front every couple of months. A quote from your leader and your ‘son of God’ is below contradicting you all:

15/11/13, “In a letter to Echonetdaily recently, Mr Benhayon (leader of Universal Medicine) has denied the group is a cult.

‘I run a business – there is no cult, no group and no members. As a client of Universal Medicine, the business, you choose to attend, you pay, you get the service and you leave, returning if you so choose to,’ he said.”
