LEVEL ONE WATER RESTRICTIONS BEGIN IN NUNDLE TOMORROW

Residents in Nundle will have to limit their use of sprinklers and hoses from tomorrow when level one water restrictions come into force.

There’s been no substantial rainfall in the Peel catchment since December and from Monday water flow in the river downstream of Nundle has decreased to six megalitres a day.

Under level one restrictions residents must only use sprinklers and fixed hoses between 6pm and 8pm, while hand-held hoses with trigger nozzles can be used from 6pm to 8am.

Tamworth is still on level three restrictions, while Attunga is on level two.
