A young Williamtown family is fighting for its livelihood, with a Nathan Tinkler owned company planning to develop a sand mine just metres from its backyard.
The Greens say it – and a similar project proposed for Bobs Farm – are irresponsible.

Port Stephens Council are so irresponsible with their development approvals, they dont consider or care how it effects negatively on us as the rate payers or the damage it creates in our beautiful area…all consideration is given to the developer and we are sick of it including the mayor and certain councillors who make these lousy decisions too. This is all to the detriment of the environment and ALL of us who live in it.
